my precious boy

my precious boy

I have been reading the lessons and practicing but have not shared anything yet. So I’m going back the the “getting to know you” lesson now and I’m going to start sharing. This is one of my favourites (out of thousands 🙂 ). It’s from when my little boy was still a baby (he’s 2 now) and I just loooooove his little toes. I wanted to capture them so I’d never forget!

I'm a mum of one - my wonderful boy Bailey who is 2 in January. I live on the northern beaches in Sydney and I'm a stay at home mum. This should leave me plenty of time to take photos but life gets busy and I don't get the camera out often enough. I hope this challenge is what I need to get me motivated so I don't look back in years to come and regret not getting photos of my boy as he grows.

  1. Awwww Sally-Ann, I love baby toes photos. And you’ve done really well. Really nice use of depth of field to make sure that the toes are the main focus of the photo. I can’t wait to see more as you work through the lessons.

  2. Love, love, love baby toes. It’s amazing how quickly they grow so getting photos at every stage is super important I think. I sometimes struggle getting the toes sharp because I’m shooting indoors and there’s not much light and the shutter speed is slow. I guess this course will help me with that 🙂
