exposure triangle of doom lol

I haven’t followed the lesson plan exactly but I think I have sort of figured it out I was out so I’ve not noted my speeds and things I’m going to buy a pad to take with me.

  1. You’ve done much better with the exposure on these Deb. Especially the second and the last one. You have good skin tones which is quite hard when the background is as bright as it is in these images. I’m glad to hear that you feel that you’ve figured it out. I look forward to seeing how you go from now on.

  2. Hi Deb,

If you are using windows, you can right click on the photo and choose properties. A box will open that has some tabs at the top, one of them titled “details”. You can then scroll down a bit and you’ll see what your ISO, f-stop and shutter speed were. It will also tell you if you used exposure compensation and what your lens was shooting at (50mm etc).

You can probably see these details in camera too. For me, it is when I view the photo on screen. I can push the up arrow button and get that information plus stuff that I can’t see in the windows information, such as white balance settings.

  3. That’s brilliant thank you I was wondering how everyone else knew what settings they were using
